About the Role You’ll join a busy, multi-disciplinary general practice with: A large GP team of 12 Dedicated skin specialists Visiting specialists & Allied Health A nursing team of 6–8 RNs & ENs The practice uses Best Practice software and is currently trialling MyGPMP Tool to enhance chronic disease management and care planning. The patient base is primarily older and lower-socioeconomic, meaning you’ll have a meaningful impact through ongoing chronic disease management, wound care, medicals, immunisations, and preventive health. Key Responsibilities As the Lead Registered Nurse, you will play a vital part in the clinical leadership team, supporting both operational flow and nursing development. Your duties include: Acting as the clinical go-to for the nursing team Working closely with GPs and senior leadership Overseeing stock ordering & supply management Supporting rostering alongside the Practice Manager Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new nursing staff Helping foster a positive, collaborative team culture You’ll be working hand-in-hand with the Practice Manager in a supportive, integrated leadership model designed to empower both roles.
